Gashes,scratches,dents,and chipped wooden pieces are some of the main reasons why your antiques and collectibles lose value. Depending on the actual size of the gash and location might have an influence on it's depreciation. If you really want to find out,just look up the number of a local or nearby antique shop to have it appraised. Be selective though,when choosing a particular appraisor. You should ask certain individuals or other shopowners about the most qualified and well respected person to assist you. |
