Check in your Yellow Pages for a Ceramic Arts center... here in California, I now of a half dozen locations in our county that rent wheel-time. Some require you take their basic class or show proof you know HOW to use the wheel safely. Or look for your local Junior College and take a Pottery class. A little difficult to give you an EXACT answer without knowing your city... if we knew THAT I could search and find you addresses and phone numbers for local centers.

Go to: activenet12.active.com/ kennesaw/ servlet/ registrationmain.sdi Look under the activities tab. Either take one of their classes or contact them about usage of pottery equipment or possibly buying a used wheel.
