Can I use a food safe over-glaze on a non-food safe glaze, will it make my pottery food safe?
I glazed my bowl in a non food safe glaze, fired it and then glazed the inside again with a food safe clear over glaze and fired it again. Is it safe to eat out of now or no? Thanks

Can you do pottery with big fingers?
I'm not going to lie, I'm not fat but my fingers are like pretty big. Bigger than normal so I ask this question can I make nice pots and roman jugs with my fingers. I wouldn't say they are fat, just big. Don't you have to have small hands to make fancy designs and stuff? I don't want to smash the dirt too hard.If it helps I have all 10 fingers unlike some people.

Doing Pottery as a hobby?
I would like to take up pottery as a hobby. I have had little experience and plan to do it at home. I plan to teach myself by researching it. However, i need to know everything i will need to get started. Any advice from anyone with experience on this subject? Any good input will be much appreciated
