Is this an antique wool yarn winder or spinning tool?

It's identical to the longer of the two wooden tools in the photo. Mine has a wonderful patina on the ends of the wood. I'm longing to know what it was used for, its approximate age, and other interesting tidbits. I recently received an antique gift and was just curious to find out how much it would be worth today?
It is a pin with a sterling silver hand crafted bow and hanging from the bow is a gold locket with the front covered in mother of pearl. It is really gorgeous and in good shape. When I received it there were two photos in it, that of a woman and that of a man in a WWII uniform so it is very old. Antique Zippo lighter worth?
I have an antique Zippo lighter. It is made of brass and is round. A ring handle on the bottom is pulled to slide the outer part which opens a cap over the wick. This is also used to snuff the flame. I am curious as to how much it may be worth. It still works.
