First, don't trust anyone who offers to help you identify it. Go online and google antique glassware information. If you know the approximate period, that will help narrow it down. Find large antique stores in nearby areas, go look around them, and see if you see anything similar. If you do, ask the store person to tell you as much as possible about it. Again, don't tell them you have any. I don't mean to sound paranoid, but until you know what you have, and what the value is, you shouldn't ask others what they think it's worth. (which is why you should find something similar and ask them) Also, have you seen Antiques Roadshow? |
