Does anybody know a professional or a website where I can find out the history of an antique china pattern? ?
I have tried searching for the pattern Harmony by Royal Stafford and have found out that they produced two patternsby that name. I have been searching for years to find peices to add to my collection which seems to be less popular than the other and have not found it anywhere. It is white china with a gold leaf floral trim. If anybody has information about this pattern or where I could find out more I would appreciate the help...Happy New Year

I have a lovely set of antique china, where can I find out more about it?
It's a small tea set, pale pink with a white border, made by Johnson Bros in England. It's marked 'Old Staffordshire.' I know it's not complete, and it's seen some use. I'd like to discover when it was made and if it's worth selling. Here's a link to a picture of a few pieces of it img.villagephotos.com p 2003 5 183246 Jaimespics001.jpgimg.villagephotos.com p 2003 5 183246 Jaimespics002.jpgDoes anyone have any information regarding this set?Or know where I can go to inquire on the net?I searched for a few minutes and came up with nothing, apparently Johnson Bros. made makes a TON of china.Any help would be great Thanks

Does anyone know anything about "Lido" or "W.S. George" antique china?
I have a beautiful set of antique china that belonged to my Grandmother but have no information about it at all. The china has an intricate gold leaf pattern around the edges and features a pastel floral pattern. The stamp on the back reads " Lido W.S. George Canarytone Made in U.S.A. 138A" . Here are a few photos that might help a collector or someone who is familiar with antique china identify its origin, age, and value which, of course to me is priceless as it was a gift from my Grandma i241.photobucket.com albums ff190 Maryann1214 Plates Lido138A.jpgi241.photobucket.com albums ff190 Maryann1214 Plates Lidogoldedge.jpgi241.photobucket.com albums ff190 Maryann1214 Plates Lidofloralcloseup.jpgi241.photobucket.com albums ff190 Maryann1214 Plates Lidostamp.jpgIf you know anything about this china or have a suggestion where I might find out more, please let me know. I would really appreciate it Thanks

How much would an antique china set sell for?
I have a 20 pc set of Diane Fine Porcelain China, Japan and I was curious how much it would sell for. It's a little dirty, but all in all good condition. No breaks or chips. The set consists of 4 dinner plates, 4 cups, 4 saucers, 4 dessert dishes, and 4 b& b plates. I've found sites on the internet that suggest around $125. I was just wondering if anyone has any better info. I know they're circa 1960 but that's about it.They're not dirty from use, but from being stored in the original box which, needless to say doesn't exactly close properly. So they've got dust and dirt all over them. They are in very good condition though.
